A couple of weeks ago the whole family gathered at mom n dad's on a Sunday afternoon.

No, it was to honor him on his 60th BIRTHDAY!Even beautiful Bonzo Burns got in on the action by giving him a card and some cash.
Seriously, the dog walked over to dad with the card in his collar. He's one smart boy.
Uncle Scott did the grillin
While others did the chillin
Uncle Bryan mastered the art of keeping baby D happy
who stole the show with his big brown eyes and flirtatious grin
so goes another year in dad's life
we all spotlighted Chet the Jet
He is sensitive, loves everyone, is very social, is a hard worker,
has always had a job, has coached teams and taken many a fishing trip
(where of course the stories were always bigger than the fish!)
He loves "hawkey" and his Ducks,
and has blessed and baptized all his children in the church
He was always good for a $20 spot when we were in high school
(3 of us were there at once!)
he's our awesome Father for so many more reasons
these were just some favorite memories gathered over the seasons

I just saw your "tuna club" comment! That is SO funny! I remember "tuna" comments being thrown around all the time over there! So funny!!

Do you know that your brother Scott is responsible for two marriages.
1. my own and 2. one of my best friends from Ricks who married Jon Hendersen! When scott was on his mission we stayed good friends and wrote and when he came home and went up to Ricks we continued our friendship. Well, since he served his mission with Jon they would come over and hang out (and check out my roommates) and Jon was friends with Bryant (because they were in the same Stake growing up) so Bryant, Jon and Scott would always come over and hang out....and then Jon and marci started dating.. .eventually got married and now have 4 kids. Bryant still had to go on a mission, so we just stayed good friends, wrote through the mission and dated when he got home and then got married. Marci and I would always joke that it's because of Scott that we are happily married!
Just a fun little story!
Hope all is well. How much longer till Dr. Drew comes home?
