Dr. Drew Skyped us from Kuwait on Sat. while he was sitting in a building the USO operates.
We lost our connection a handful of times, but the girls love being able to see him and blow kisses.
He called last night from Afghanistan to say he was working his way to his final location, which is a NATO position. We (the U.S.) have a commitment there with the Spaniards that he is going to fill. This should be interesting as he doesn't speak Spanish (even after years of taking it in high school). I don't speak it either. I took it all the way through AP and have a mother who is fluent in the language. This could be the start of something new.
