Just before summer ended, we ran up to visit Crested Butte.
We took a chair lift up to the summit, some 12,000 + feet up. Then we hiked down to the bottom with the kids. They pooped out towards the end, so we hopped on a different chair lift for the last mile or so. They were troopers. It was a big hike, even though down hill, because the air was so thin and we had just come back from our sea-level visit to CA.
Jr. was in a mood and would NOT cooperate for this photo. I love it. He's being such a 2 year old here. Our family theme this year was Explore the Earth. We certainly did just that ALL over Co!
